Amherst Beaver Creek Stay Suites is a hotel-like setting designed to help you jump start your recovery after you have been discharged from UH Amherst Beaver Creek Surgery Center. If you choose to register as a guest in the stay suites, nurses and a physical therapist will be available to provide education and support as you begin exercises, walk up and down stairs, and prepare for self-care and recovery at home.
If you have a procedure scheduled at the surgery center and are interested in stay suites accommodations after your post-surgery discharge from the surgery center, please contact your Muve Nurse Navigator to determine your eligibility.

If you have a procedure scheduled at the surgery center and are interested in stay suites accommodations after your post-surgery discharge, please contact your Muve Nurse Navigator or your surgeon's office to determine your eligibility.
No. Eligible patients have the option to register as a guest in the stay suites for one night to help prepare for self-care and recovery at home.
The cost of the stay suites is included in the payment from the surgery center for patients with commercial insurance.
However, since Medicare is a federally funded insurance, we cannot legally provide free services that could be interpreted as inducement. Therefore, for Medicare patients, we must charge a fair and reasonable rate to comply with federal regulations. The charge for Medicare patients is $125.00.
Yes. You can have one person visit or stay overnight with you, such as a spouse, family member, or other support person.
Yes. You will receive physical therapy the day of surgery, and one session the morning after your surgery depending on your progress. After you return home, you may have at-home therapy or outpatient therapy.
Muve is a surgical care program comprised of proven care pathways, clinical protocols, and patient engagement technology designed to enhance patient care experiences and outcomes. Patients are paired with a nurse navigator who serves as a clinical guide and central point of contact throughout the preparation and recovery phases of care.
Amherst Beaver Creek Stay Suites is conveniently located in the same building as the surgery center.
